Overcoming obstacles. I love Herbie Hancock’s quote. How do you define obstacles?
We have physical obstacles: walls, rivers, mountains, fences, chasms, and so on.
There are relationship obstacles: jealousy, fear, self-righteousness, pride, and apathy.
And, we have created some of own obstacles: self-doubt, lack of planning, and conflicting priorities. And of course, this is not a complete list.
How do you conquer these obstacles? Identify them by being honest, and that is a hard thing to do. If you set a goal, and create a plan, you should identify the obstacles you may encounter along the way.
Big or small, you can conquer them. If you cannot go over them or around them – go through them!
